Chicken soup that works.
Ingredients:
4 cups chicken stock
1 potato peeled and sliced to 1/8 inch thickness
1 tomato skinned and diced
3 clove garlic
2” ginger sliced
5 cloves
1/2 tbls thyme
10 black peppercorns
3 tsp salt
1 spoon white rice washed
Method:
Place all ingredients into a pot (except the rice and let it come to a roaring boil.
After the soup boils, reduce the heat and add the rice.
Let the soup simmer for 20’.
Serve with saltine crackers. It will make any sore throat feel better within minutes.
Remove the peppers, clove, garlic and ginger before serving unless if you want to eat them.
