I took some time off and completed another baby project just to get my creative juices flowing.
I finished this project while binge watching Netflix’s new series Stranger Things, or should I say it was more watching than painting.
“Stranger Things”; the cover, the music, the theme, adventurous boys on their bikes, monsters, mad scientist and right down to coming of age, Stranger Things is everything 80’s personified.
Just when I thought they don’t make children’s movies like they used too, Netflix came to the rescue. “Stranger Things” is not a movie but even then, what a show it is.
My faith in children themed tv show is reinstated in the form of Duffer Brothers and their great storytelling.
A little bit of everything from The Goonies, ET, Bad Boys, Stand By Me, and did I detect a little bit of X-Files? “Stranger Things” is a feast to binge on.
It’s a must watch for every 80’s children’s movie fan and … the 80’s had the best and the most of them.
Airing just eight episodes (8 Chapters) in Season 1 this Netflix tv series has left us hungry for more.
Summer 2017 is an awful long wait for this shows return.
