Fundraising Event – Milton District Horticultural Society

Twenty books were donated to the fundraising held by The Milton District Horticultural Society on June 20th, 2020.
The sales of Bunica’s Tomatoes were well received and was a great success.

Fundraising Event – École Pine Grove School

The first “annual” École Pine Grove School’s Marché took place on October 2, 2013 and was hosted by the Parent Council, coinciding with Meet the Teacher day.
Taking place in the school gym; it’s purpose to bring the community together to showcase the community’s skills, talents, products and services. It was a treasure trove for mumpreneurs and small business owners.
Proceeds from sales from this event were shared between the Halton Learning Foundation and Pine Grove’s Global Issues Club.

Gawri at the Niagara-on-the-Lake Public Library Bookfair

On June 1 Gawri had the privilege of being amongst the writers who participated at this year’s “Niagara-on-the-Lake Public Library Bookfair”.
The event has been organized in conjunction with this year’s Niagara Literary Arts Festival (NLAF), at the Niagara-On-The-Lake Community Centre.
The centre is a large, modern venue, that opened early 2011. In addition to the NOTL Public Library, the venue also houses conference rooms and a Café, along with ample parking.
