Ingredients:<\/p>\n

4 cups flour<\/p>\n

2 1\/2 cups small oatmeal<\/p>\n

5 tbls Horlicks<\/p>\n

5 tbls Nestum\u2028 cereal<\/p>\n

3 tsp baking powder<\/p>\n

4 cups demerara sugar\u2028 (don\u2019t go easy on the sugar)<\/p>\n

3 cups butter melted\u2028 (measure and pack it down before melting)<\/p>\n

4 eggs<\/p>\n

1\/2 tsp salt<\/p>\n

1 1\/2 cups chopped nuts – almonds, walnuts, hazelnut<\/p>\n

1 tsp cinnamon<\/p>\n

1 tsp ginger<\/p>\n

Method:<\/p>\n

Mix the sugar and eggs together.<\/p>\n

Mix the flour, oatmeal, Horlicks, Nestum wheat cereal, baking powder and nuts together.<\/p>\n

Add the flour mixture to the egg and sugar mixture.<\/p>\n

Pour the melted butter over the mixture.<\/p>\n

Make a stiff dough and roll the mixture into grease paper to an 1 1\/2 inch oblong and refrigerate it for 2 hours or overnight.<\/p>\n

Cut it into 1\/4 inch circles and space it out on a cookie sheet.<\/p>\n

Bake it at 180 degrees for 10′ – 12′.<\/p>\n

Makes about 60 delectable cookies for a thunderous all-night Christmas eve party.<\/p>\n
